About Me
For two decades, Cookie has been making things up.
Born in Vancouver, she studied and worked in Sydney, Paris, London, New York City and San Francisco before returning home to Vancouver, where she now lives.
In San Francisco, she studied under Pulitzer Prize–nominated playwright Amy Freed. Her first play, Jung Love, was selected for the San Francisco Emerging Playwright’s Festival. She later directed her play High School Diplomacy.
Her work has appeared in The New York Times and Traveler's Tales. She is the co-writer and Associate Producer of The Timekeeper (official selection at 12+ film festivals worldwide including Cannes) and co-writer of The Christmas Calendar, which received eight Leo Awards nominations, including Best Screenwriting.
